Celebrate Unani Day 2022
World Unani Day was observed at Inamdar Unani Medical College & Hospital (IUMCH), Kalaburagi, Karnataka, on dated 11th February 2022. The event became memorable by the presence of chief guest Dr.A.S.Rudrawadi (Civil Surgeon, GIMS) and guest of honour Dr.Satish Kumar Patil (Vice Principal, SNI Dental College). This program was presided by Dr.Qamruzzan H. Inamdar (President IREACT) while it was supervised by The Director IUMCH Dr.Nishat A. Inamdar and Principal IUMCH Dr.M.Q.Farooqui. On the occasion, various speeches were given by chief guest, guest of honour, President IREACT, Principal IUMCH and Deputy Superintendent of Hospital. Some of the teaching staff also presented beautiful ppt presentations. The event was managed smoothly by the team of teachers including Dr.N.Imtiyazi, Dr.Filza Iqbal and Dr.Fatima Khan. All the aspects and scopes of Unani System of Medicine were discussed in the program.

World AIDS Day 2021
World AIDS Day was observed at Inamdar Unani Medical College and Hospital (IUMCH), Gulbarga, Karnataka, on dated 01/12/21 (Wednesday). The program was organized by Dept. of Tahaffuzi-wa-Samaji Tib (Preventive and Social Medicine) under the supervision of subject teacher Dr.N.Imtiyazi. Students of 2nd year BUMS actively participated in the event. An aptitude test on the topic of AIDS was conducted and various students gave PPT presentations on AIDS. Prizes were distributed by the hands of Principal IUMCH Dr.M.Q.Farooqui, who was also the guest of honour. The program concluded successfully with various speeches given by the principal, teachers and students.
World Diabetes Day 2021
World Diabetes Day was celebrated at Inamdar Unani Medical College and Hospital, Kalaburagi, Karnataka, on dated 14th November 2021 by students of BUMS 2nd year. The event was organized by department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji tib under the guidance of Dr. N. Imtiyazi.
The theme for World Diabetes Day 2021-23 is
“Access to Diabetes Care – If Not Now, When?”
On this occasion different aspects of Diabetes Mellitus were discussed. Students use blue coloured dresses, circles and balloons as the theme required. Students also participated in photo session with blues circles, theme charts and balloon logo to spread awareness.
3 day Hijamah (Cupping) camp on dated 25th September 2021
Inamdar Unani Medical College and Hospital (IUMCH) Gulbarga, Karnataka, has organized a 3 day Hijamah (Cupping) camp on dated 25th, 27th & 29th September 2021 according to 17th, 19th & 21st dates of Lunar calendar. Today was camp’s 1st day. Patients of various diseases took benefit of this camp as the team of doctors, paramedics and other hospital staffs gave tremendous care to the patients. All the patients appreciated the effort of the team and they happily praised IUMCH for arranging this camp. Today’s camp became successful under the guidance of President IREACT Dr.Qamruzzama Inamdar, Principal IUMCH Dr.Qamqamuddin Farooqui and the Director IUMCH Dr.Nishat Afreen Inamdar.

Teacher’s day celebration 2021
A grand program for teacher’s day celebration was organized at Inamdar Unani Medical College and Hospital (IUMCH), Gulbarga, Karnataka. The event was blessed by the presence of Dr. P S Shankar Patil supposed to be the Father of Medicine in Gulbarga who graced the stage as the chief guest. Mr. Ashish Agarwal as the guest of honour enlightened the young budding doctors of Unani Medicine.
On this occasion, an exhibition of projects was presented by BUMS 2nd year students on the topic of food and nutrition, as college was also celebrating National Nutrition Week (1st-7th September).
An award of excellence was given to Dr.N.Imtiyazi (asst. prof. dept. of TST) by the management of the college for her great works in the academics as well other college activities. Various speeches were given by the teachers as well as the students. This program became enlighten by the inspiring speeches of Dr.P.S.Shankar Patil (cheif guest) and Mr.Ashish Agarwal (Guest of Honour). The program successfully concluded with the speeches of Dr.Qamruzzaman Inamdar (President IREACT), Dr.Nishat Afreen Inamdar (Director IUMCH) and Dr.Qamqamuddin Farooqui (Principal IUMCH).
Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
Preparation of Kit for Geriatric Patients for their common ailments and also Training of Students for the activities for the same organised by Principal (Prof. Mohammad Qamqamuddinand Farooqui) Sir and Co ordinator For Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Prof. Mohammad Ali Ansari along with the Other Staff Members of Our College namely Dr Hina Anjum, Dr Ajij Ahmed, Dr Sufiya and Non Teaching Staffs by the full support of management of the Institution.
Inaugural function of Food and Nutrition awareness programme
An inaugural function of Food and Nutrition awareness programme held in the seminar hall of Inamdar unani medical college and hospital kalaburgi, as
National Nutrition Week- 2021(1st September- 7th September) is being celebrated by Inamdar Unani Medical College and hospital kalaburgi.
A series of lectures and speeches were organised by teachers and students of the College. This programme became successful under the supervision of Dr.Qamrruzama Inamdar president IREACT kalaburgi.
Under the slogan of National Nutrition Week, this year’s theme was “Feeding smart right from start”. Therefore different aspects of health & nutrition, food guide pyramid, balanced diet, food adulteration etc all the information regarding this topics were given to students. College has also arranged a week long series of lectures and various projects regarding food and nutrition.
