World Tuberculosis (TB) Day is observed annually on March 24th to raise awareness about tuberculosis, a contagious disease that primarily affects the lungs but can also impact other parts of the body.
On the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day on March 24th 2024, with the theme of “Yes! We can end TB, commit, invest, deliver ”, the Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib organized a seminar program for the awareness in the College auditorium by 2nd professional students.
The students were actively participated by creating informative session and discussion. The focus was on the continued fight against tuberculosis, aiming to educate, reduce stigma, and promote access to effective treatment for all.
The program was supervises by Professor and assistant professor of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib Dr.Tasneem Inamdar and Dr Syeda Saira Banu. Presided by Dr Qamaruzzama inamdar- president IUMCH, Dr. Nishat afreen inamdar – Director IUMCH, and other faculty members of the College and Hospital attended the event.
